Amat Relationships

Katniss Everdeen

From his world, so obviously his first ally. Already mental breakdown buddies so she is who he turns to when he can't handle being on the island and having break downs missing Annie. He trusts her and feels he owes her a great deal for watching out for him when he first arrives. Is @ best friend status. She hit her relationship with Ryan from him (or at least that's how Finnick took it) and a curse made him think that she was hiding things from him. None the less when he learns she has gone into the forest he joins Rose in searching for her.

Cassie Ainsworth

Fin met her his first night on the island when he collar was at day 12 and he needed drugs and alcohol to escape his anxiety about being on this strange island. She reminds him a lot of Annie how broken and spacey she is and he finds a great deal of comfort in how much she understands being a mess inside. She is still his drug dealer and stable friends with benefits but more than a collar partner. When she died as a result of a fight they had he was overwhelmed with guilt (and an attack by Katniss) and did everything he could to resolve things between the two.

Kitty Pryde

Met while attacking Captain America and became friends over cooking fish and comparing worlds. Reminds him of Johanna with her take-no-shit attitude and spunk. Are currently roommates.

Gwen Cooper

Finnick meets Gwen on her arrival at Atia and takes her under his wing once she gets past thinking he is just trying to sell himself to her. She gets a job as security at Mao, where Finnick works. The two are close friends and he enjoys helping her out with her collar as well as just drinking with her. There may be some unique attraction there that he won't tell her.

Rose Hathaway

Rose and Finnick started off on the wrong foot. She is Katniss's roommate and initially that was the only reason he tolerated her and labeled her 'trouble'. At his house warming party, over a drinking game Finnick asks a very personal question without really knowing it and set her off with a drink in his face. After that he avoided her until a curse had him wake up happily married to the girl. When the curse ended he didn't remember mcuh, and didn't realize that she remembered everything that had happened between them causing a tension of lingering feelings to form between the two.

Saphira

Finnick is completely enthralled with Saphira actually being a dragon in her true form. The two meet over the network and he is in awe of her. Saphira sees a very unique side of Finnick when he meets her during a curse that puts her in her dragon body. He is like a child in complete amazement of her and she allows him to ride on her back which he finds even more amazing and an honor. During a curse she did appear in his dreams and he sought her out for their only sexual encounter thus far.

Ryan Evans

Finnick meets Ryan by surprise at a wedding when he arrives with Katniss on his arm. Initially Finnick is wary of this guy who is similar to Peeta and seemingly taking his place in Katniss's life. Finnick bids on Ryan in an auction for charity as a joke on Katiss and accidentally wins a date when no one outbids him. The two go on a guys night out drinking and finally getting to know each other and learning that Ryan is quite the perfect fit for Katniss.
